American Academy Accelerated High School Diploma Program
Here’s how the American Academy High School program works:
Enrollment Application
When you are ready to enroll, simply complete the enrollment application and return it with your payment. Or call our toll-free number to speak with an Academic Advisor.
Student Acceptance
As soon as your enrollment application is processed we'll send you the materials for your first subject, your student ID card, and Experience Profile form.
Experience Profile
Complete and return your Experience Profile form. Then we'll prepare your Total Graduation Program including the suggested time required and the credits you've been awarded from your Experience Profile form.
High School Qualifying Exam
All students take the High School Qualifying Exam. In some cases, the High School Qualifying Exam, credits for prior courses, and life experiences will allow graduation.
Students not receiving credit for prior courses or life experiences will take both the High School Qualifying Exam and at least one of the following high school subjects:
- English Writing Skills
- U.S. Constitution
- Recent U.S. History
- History of the Bible
- Government in Florida (Florida residents)
Any additional courses required for your high school diploma will be taken from our full U.S. standard curriculum.
Begin Your Lessons
Everything you need to begin your lessons is provided to you. There are no addition costs and nothing more to buy. And since there is no class schedule you study at your own pace, when and where it’s convenient for you. If you ever have a question about anything in your program you can always reach an Academic Advisor via toll-free phone number or email.
At the end of each subject you will take an open-book, multiple-choice exam. An Academic Advisor at the school personally reviews and grades your exam, adding useful comments to guide you. For each subject finished, you receive a Certificate of Completion beautifully engraved on gold parchment and suitable for framing.
Remember, for students to complete the program and be eligible for graduation, a Grade Point Average (GPA), of 2.00 or higher must be attained. Students who don't not have this GPA will be charged a one time $25.00 fee, in order to retake the necessary exams to reach the rquired GPA of 2.00.
High School Graduation
Once you have passed all of your exams you will receive your diploma from American Academy of Pinecrest.
