Yes, American Academy High School is fully accredited nationally and you are entitled to use your American Academy Diploma in any and all 50 States.

Can I go to college with an American Academy of Pinecrest diploma?

Yes, over the years American Academy of Pinecrest students have attended colleges and vocational programs.

Can I join the military with an American Academy High School diploma?

Military acceptance is handled on a case-by-case basis. However, American Academy High School of Pinecrest has a strong history of sending graduates into the military.

I left high school before the tenth grade, can I enroll in American Academy High School?

All applications will be considered for enrollment regardless of the last grade completed – even if you’ve never attended high school before.

Is the American Academy High School diploma a GED?

No. American Academy High School awards a fully accredited, private high school Diploma.

When I send in my enrollment application and payment, will I receive credit for my life experience and job skills?

Yes. You will be asked to complete an Experience Profile form that tells us about your previous schooling, jobs, and life experience. You may also request the specific experience credit you feel you qualify for.

What is the American Academy High School program like?

You study in your home, independently, at your own speed. . You can choose from online or mail correspondence programs. And there are no classes, no deadlines, and no pressure from classmates. It is the policy of American Academy that a student cannot be dropped from the program for academic reasons. That’s why we describe our programs as "Failure-Proof."

What course are required to graduate with a diploma from home?

American Academy High School has the same basic required subjects as other private schools or public high schools. Transfer credits and your credit for experience will determine which courses and how many you take. You may also request the specific subjects you want to take.

How long will it take to earn my high school diploma?

With American Academy’s accelerated high school diploma program you can earn a fully accredited high school diploma in just 6 weeks. Or you may choose to work at your own pace and take up to 8 months to complete your studies. The choice is yours.

Can I get a high school graduation ring?

Yes. You may purchase the official American Academy High School ring with your birthstone upon graduation.

How do I receive my high school diploma?

Your diploma is showcased in a beautiful display folder engraved with the American Academy of Pinecrest emblem. It is sent to you immediately upon receipt of your final payment and completion of your study.
